Dates TBD in June & July...BIMA Treasure Treks invites you to search Bainbridge Island parks for hand blown glass floats hidden in plain sight that yours to keep if you find one. Organized by the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, Treasure Treks sends people out into local parks and public spaces with clues and a sense of curiosity. Skilled glass artists create the colorful hand blown floats, each one unique and meant to be discovered and taken home by a lucky finder. Social posts build anticipation before each trek, sharing hints and celebrating past participants who proudly hold up thier newly found glass treasures. Part scavenger hunt and part art appreciation, this family friendly experience has folks scanning trails and double checking logs and tree branches.
