A historic art deco theater with a diverse calendar of programming.
Bremerton’s Historic Roxy Theatre is a beloved art-deco gem from 1941 that has been lovingly restored and now brings movies, live shows, and community events back to downtown’s 4th Street. Once a classic cinema where stars like Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra once performed, the Roxy today blends nostalgic charm with modern sound, laser projection, and modern programming. Run by the nonprofit Roxy Bremerton Foundation, the theater hosts everything from first-run films and art house favorites to jazzy themed nights, concerts, and special community events. Its intimate 500-seat space, maritime mural by famed photographer Asahel Curtis, and glowing marquee make it a cozy cultural anchor in the growing Quincy Square arts district.
